Get ready to feast both your eyes and your mouths from the 11th - 18th of March 2023 as our Constance Chefs and Michelin Chefs create sumptuous masterpieces.

This 16th edition of Constance Festival Culinaire will see the participation of six Michelin star Chefs from France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Norway and Germany.

Presenting our guests Michelin star chefs for the 16th edition:

Chef Alain Bianchin - Maison Alain Bianchin Belgium

Alain-Bianchin-in-Mauritius

Alain grew up in the generous and sunny fragrances of his grandmother's kitchen.
Awakened to the authentic taste of products thanks to his roots rooted in Venetian lands and inspired by the classics of the great French tradition, today he creates his dishes by the force of his intuition, reinventing the forms and subtleties of gastronomic classics.

Chef Christopher Haatuft - Lysverket restaurant, Bergen in Norway

Christopher Haatuft is a very modern chef: he is largely self-trained, a ‘locavore’, socially conscious,
collaborative and disarmingly intelligent.
His minimalist fine-dining restaurant, Lysverket, together with a bar and nightclub, is set in the KODE 4 art gallery in the center of Bergen.

Chef Mark Kempson, Kitchen W8, London, UK

Holding onto a Michelin star for ten years in central London, Kitchen W8 in Kensington is a place,
that quietly produces seasonal, simple, approachable dishes in serene surroundings under the watchful eye
of head chef Mark Kempson, who has been at the helm of the kitchen since it was opened by Phil Howard in 2009.

Chef Riccardo Gaspari - Restaurant SanBrite Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy

Riccardo-Gaspari-in-Mauritius

Born in 1985 in Cortina, Riccardo Gaspari is simply very passionate. Humble, concrete and perfectionist, when he decides to take on a road, he does so with his heart but also with utter decisiveness and commitment. His ‘regenerative’ cooking is a way to take you on a journey through the culinary memories that have marked him, his family traditions or even the key ingredients of his gastronomic heritage.

Chef Romuald Fassenet, Château Mont Joly, Jura, France

Chef Romuald together with his wife, sommelière and winegrowers’ remodeled Chateau Mont Joly, a classical edifice into a designer establishment perfect for a charming overnight stay near Dole. His straightforward, appetising food reveals his genuine passion for the Jura region.
Yellow Jura wine features prominently in his fantastic sauces and his signature dishes include Bresse chicken breast in vin jaune with morels cooked in a bladder and “MOF” (Best Craftsman of France) duck pie.

Chef Thomas Wohlfeld - Handwerk restaurant, Hannover in Germany

Head chef Thomas Wohlfeld's cooking is a perfect mix of his ideas, drawing on North German tradition and subtle Far Eastern influences. Minimalist and ingredient-led dishes, Vierländer Platte tomatoes with melon and Belper Knolle or cod with raspberry and almond are available in the form of his set menu of five or six courses.

Similar to past editions, the level is set very high and we can’t wait to see the creativity and masterpieces that our Michelin Chefs together with our Constance Chefs will create.
