Noor's stay at Constance Ephelia

Why did you choose Constance Ephelia?

During my research on which hotel to visit in Seychelles, Constance Ephelia’s hotel guests’ reviews were one of the best. This made me look into the hotel more and eventually book a stay there! Not to mention, it is one of the largest in the Indian Ocean.

How would you describe the hotel?

My experience was incredible and unforgettable thanks to the friendly staff and the scenic resort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to the several facilities and restaurants the hotel offers. The resort has two beautiful beaches, which they call the North and the South. The resort is huge and the grounds are well kept

They also have a small turtle sanctuary, which you can feed at a certain time during the day. Our rooms were always clean and the cleaning staff would always pop by to see if we needed extra things for our room. Right outside our junior suite, we had a large pool and the South Beach. The hotel has 16 pools in total!
Furthermore, this hotel offers a wide variety of water activities and there’s always something for guests to do at night at one of their restaurants for their theme nights. Also, I loved the atmosphere and vibe of the whole resort; it’s a small heaven on earth.

What are the activities you did during your stay at Constance Ephelia?

We visited the waterfall situated right outside the resort. A hotel staff accompanied us to the waterfall hike. The hike was so worth it because the waterfall was beautiful! We also tried the kayaking which is free of charge to all hotel guests. At the North beach, there are several stations at which you could book a tour for fishing, snorkelling ride and so much more.  We eventually booked for a snorkelling tour which would last 2 hours and it was so much fun! They take you to two islands nearby and teach you how to snorkel properly before you go in.

The beautiful fish I saw and the experience we had was remarkable. We even caught a starfish! Last but not least, we also tried the Zipline experience. That was the highlight of our trip! The Zipline experience includes a total of 8 Ziplines situated in the resort in the forest area, yes that how large the resort is!

Tell us about the food.

The food was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet was at the main restaurant Corossol and they had a wide variety of options and I loved how everything was halal! All food was made fresh which made it a delicious experience. The hotel has five restaurants and bars, including the fine dining “Cyann” restaurant. Helios is the Mediterranean themed restaurant where I had one of the best pizzas of my life!
We were lucky enough to be there at Seselwa, the Creole restaurant on their theme night to experience the show, which included live singing and traditional Creole dance whilst having a delicious traditional Creole buffet.

Furthermore, at Adam & Eve, their Asian food restaurant, my husband and I experienced tasty Asian food under the stars.
It was one of the most romantic nights! Last but not least, we experienced the fine dining restaurant Cyann on our last night. Everything was put into so much detail and the food was just delicious. They also did a nice touch when the restaurant staff took a photo of us on a Polaroid Camera to take with us home as a nice momentum.

If you were to re-live this experience again, what would you do differently and why?

I would definitely book for a longer stay next time, as I didn’t feel I got to experience it to the maximum in a matter of 4 nights. I loved everything and if I were to relive this experience again, I wouldn’t change a thing.

A good friend of yours is going to Constance Ephelia - what would be your recommendations?

To try the water activities and definitely the ZipLine. As for the restaurants, my recommendations would be Helios and Adam & Eve. To check out the Fitness Spa pool because that pool has the most beautiful view of the mountains. Moreover, to also experience the U Spa for a massage and the pools for a swim.

Sunscreen, Several Swimsuits, Proper Sportswear for activities such as Ziplining or rock climbing, Semi-Formal wear for the lovely fine dining experience at Cyann & Aloe Vera After-Sunburn Cream.

What has been your Constance Moment?

Sunset time was always the best time for my husband and me; the North Beach has the perfect view for it and we would just sit and watch the sun go down with our freshly made mocktail every day. That was our perfect Constance Moment.
