From 17 to 21 August 2026, Escapade Gourmande invites you to experience an extraordinary celebration of taste across two of the Maldives’ most idyllic islands: Constance Moofushi in South Ari Atoll and Constance Halaveli on Alifu Alifu Atoll.
Here, gastronomy becomes more than a meal. It becomes a sensory journey shaped by exceptional talent, inspiring flavours, and the beauty of the Indian Ocean. The gentle rhythm of the waves, the warmth of the sand, the glow of island evenings, and the artistry of renowned culinary figures come together to create moments to be savoured and remembered.
For this exclusive edition, Escapade Gourmande brings together four remarkable artisans of taste, each offering their own interpretation of excellence, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Leading the culinary experience is French three-Michelin-starred chef Jérôme Banctel, the acclaimed chef behind Le Gabriel at Hotel La Réserve Paris. Celebrated for his precise and expressive cuisine, Chef Banctel creates dishes where emotion meets technique, allowing exceptional ingredients to reveal their full character. His culinary signature reflects a delicate balance between intensity and refinement, transforming each creation into a story of flavour.
Joining him is Claudio Mengoni, Executive Chef of Borgo San Jacopo, whose cuisine celebrates the elegance and richness of Italian gastronomy. Drawing inspiration from tradition while embracing contemporary creativity, Chef Mengoni crafts experiences that honour seasonality, authenticity, and the beauty of simplicity.
Completing the culinary artistry is Cesare Murzilli, whose refined pastry creations bring a final touch of emotion to the journey. Through precision, imagination, and craftsmanship, his desserts transform delicate flavours and textures into unforgettable moments.

Adding another dimension to this feast for the senses is Donovan Rall of Rall Wines. His expressive South African wines, shaped by a deep connection to terroir and nature, will accompany the chefs’ creations, creating a dialogue between cuisine and wine.
