Celebrate Festa della Repubblica in Mauritius
This June, the spirit of Italy comes alive on Mauritian shores as Constance Hotels & Resorts presents the first edition of Italian Week, a refined celebration of gastronomy, wine, and culture, set across Constance Prince Maurice, Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Sakoa Boutik.
At the heart of the week lies a tribute to Italy’s national day, Festa della Repubblica, inviting guests to experience its flavours, traditions, and artistry through an exceptional culinary journey.
For this inaugural edition, two distinguished chefs bring their artistry to Mauritius: Alessandro Breda, awarded one Michelin star for Restaurant Gellivs in Oderzo, and Piergiorgio Siviero, holder of both a Michelin star and a Green Star for Restaurant Lazzaro 1915 in Pontelongo.
Their presence marks a rare opportunity to experience Michelin-starred cuisine in an intimate island setting.
Complementing the culinary experience, Italian winemaker Daniele Balan of Balan Winery in Verona will take guests on a delicious journey through wines, celebrating the richness and diversity of Italian terroirs.

Tuesday 2nd June
Celebrate Festa della Repubblica with an exclusive four-course wine dinner at Archipel Restaurant, Constance Prince Maurice, where Chefs Breda and Siviero come together to create a menu inspired by the essence of Italy.
