Wellness Retreat in Seychelles
Sometimes, wellbeing begins simply by making space for it.
From 5 to 7 October 2026, Constance Ephelia Seychelles introduces a new three-day wellness experience designed to help guests slow down, reconnect with themselves and return home with a greater sense of balance.
Set within the natural surroundings of Mahé, this intimate experience brings together mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, restorative practices, sound immersion, personalised spa treatments and thoughtful nutrition. Rather than filling three days with activities, it creates a rhythm that allows guests to move between gentle practice, reflection, rest and time to simply be.
More than a spa break
A wellness escape can mean many things. Here, the focus is on creating a more complete experience, one that connects the body, mind and everyday habits.
Each morning begins with a combination of pranayama, meditation, gentle flow, yin and restorative practices, creating time to awaken the body and settle the mind. Reflection and journaling then offer a quieter moment to pause and notice what feels important.
The afternoons take a different pace, with guided discussions, restorative movement, fascia release and sound immersion before guests retreat into the resort's spa facilities. Each day concludes with a 60-minute personalised massage, allowing plenty of space for deep relaxation.
The result is not a packed wellness schedule, but a carefully considered three-day rhythm of movement, nourishment, reflection and rest.
A more personal approach to wellbeing
One of the defining elements of the experience is its small-group format, limited to just six guests.
This creates space for more individual attention and a gentler, more personal approach. Guests are encouraged to explore what feels supportive for their own body and wellbeing, rather than following a one-size-fits-all programme.
Leading the experience is Frédérique Duchenne-Burckel, a certified yoga teacher and cognitive behavioural coach with more than 15 years of experience in holistic wellbeing. Her approach brings together yoga, meditation and coaching, with an emphasis on helping guests discover practices they can continue beyond their stay.
From mindful mornings to restorative afternoons
The three days follow a natural progression. The first day is about grounding and reconnecting, arriving in the moment, becoming more aware of the body and creating a foundation for the days ahead.
The second invites guests to find balance and openness, exploring movement, breath and sensation while creating more space for ease.
The final day focuses on integration and renewal. It is an opportunity to reflect on what has been discovered and identify simple practices that can become part of everyday life long after the experience ends.
This sense of continuity is what makes the experience particularly suited to guests looking for more than a few hours at the spa. It offers the time and structure to pause, explore and take something meaningful home.
Wellbeing, with the freedom of a resort stay
Wellness does not have to mean stepping away from everything else. At Constance Ephelia, guests can combine the experience with the pleasures of a Seychelles holiday. Afternoons include access to the steam, sauna, pools and relaxation areas, while evenings remain free to dine, explore the resort or simply enjoy time at their own pace.
The experience is also designed with families in mind. Children aged three and above can enjoy the complimentary kids club: Coconut Tribe, with babysitting available as an additional option, giving parents the opportunity to dedicate time to themselves while still enjoying a family stay.
Nourishment forms part of the experience too. Lunch at Helios restaurant offers a Mediterranean-inspired selection with vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian and thoughtfully prepared meat options, bringing a relaxed and varied approach to mindful eating.
Three days. A little more space for yourself.
In the middle of a Seychelles holiday, three days dedicated to wellbeing can offer something different: not an itinerary to complete, but time to listen, breathe, rest and reconnect.
With an intimate group, personalised guidance, daily treatments and practices designed to extend beyond the stay, the Wellness Immersion at Constance Ephelia invites guests to return to what matters and to take that feeling of balance with them.
The three-day Wellness Immersion takes place from 5 to 7 October 2026 at Constance Ephelia Seychelles.
