Le Meilleur Pâtissier winner at Constance Belle Mare Plage

We had the immense pleasure of welcoming Manon, winner of Le Meilleur Pâtissier Season 11, at Constance Belle Mare Plage recently. Beloved for her warm, generous spirit, Manon made a memorable impression during the 18 edition of Constance Festival Culinaire in Mauritius.

She described the experience as “nothing short of incredible.”  Here’s her full impression of the annual culinary event.

"I never imagined a culinary festival could so beautifully embody values like sharing, joy, and excellence," she shared. From the flawless organisation to the enriching activities, the festival exceeded all her expectations.

As a passionate pâtissière, Manon felt right at home. The festival provided her with the opportunity to connect with fellow pastry chefs, attend prestigious competitions, and, most importantly, engage in meaningful conversations about the shared love of pâtisserie.

"This invitation was completely in line with who I am. I got to meet chefs, savour new creations, and dive deep into the passion that unites us all."

One of the festival’s greatest gifts to her? Unexpected flavour combinations. "They opened my mind and sparked my creativity, it's truly inspiring," she said.

Manon also cherished her encounters with culinary icons such as Pierre Sang and Mercotte, describing these exchanges as one of the festival’s standout elements. "Sharing their talent and passion in such a beautiful setting, it was unforgettable."

When asked what makes Constance Festival Culinaire unique, her answer was clear: "The values that shine through: sharing, simplicity, and joy. You have to live it to truly feel it."

Throughout her stay at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Manon found herself deeply moved by the hospitality and beauty of the hotel. “The best I’ve ever experienced. Everything was perfect—from the stunning surroundings to the exceptional service and heartfelt welcome. It was simply a dream,” she noted, echoing the sentiments of her partner who accompanied her.

For Manon, this wasn’t just a trip—it was a #MyConstanceMoment.

"A timeless experience that brought me back to what really matters, surrounded by beauty and warmth. The generosity and kindness of the staff, those are memories I’ll carry with me forever."

Looking to the future, Manon hopes to return for the next edition. "I’d love to come back and continue sharing this incredible event with my community. Keeping the love for gastronomy alive is so important to me.”

And perhaps, just perhaps with a few more masterclasses, too.
