Constance Mauritius Ladies Open 2026
Mauritius will further strengthen its position on the regional golfing calendar this June, as Constance Hotels & Resorts partners with the Mauritius Ladies Golf Union to host the 2026 Mauritius Ladies Open.
Now rebranded as the Constance Mauritius Ladies Open (CMLO), the tournament will take place from 4 to 6 June at Constance Belle Mare Plage, on the resort’s two championship courses, the Links Golf Course and the Legends Golf Course. Around 120 players are expected to compete over three days of play.
The sixth edition of the tournament will bring together the island’s leading female golfers, regional contenders from Madagascar, South Africa, Kenya and Réunion Island, as well as several players of international calibre. The event highlights the growing momentum of women’s golf both locally and internationally, with organisers anticipating a high standard of competition across all categories.
The partnership reflects a shared ambition to accelerate the development of women’s golf in Mauritius, while strengthening the island’s positioning as a premium golf destination capable of hosting international sporting events of distinction.
“The Constance Mauritius Ladies Open 2026 goes beyond a sporting competition, it represents a firm commitment to the advancement and visibility of women’s golf across the Indian Ocean region,” said Sébastien Pilot, Golf Director at Constance Hotels & Resorts. “By hosting this event on our courses, we aim to provide a platform of excellence where players can compete at the highest level, in an environment aligned with their ambitions.”
“Our aim is to create a welcoming yet competitive environment for golfers of all levels. We are proud to see the enthusiasm surrounding this tournament and we thank our sponsors and partners for their continued support. Together, let us make women’s golf shine in Mauritius,” said Elizabeth Dalais, President of the Mauritius Ladies Golf Union.
This fully women’s competition is designed to bring together players of varying abilities and from diverse regions, fostering not only healthy competition but, above all, a strong sense of camaraderie.
The CMLO is registered with the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), enabling ranked participants to potentially improve their standing based on their performance.
The competition features three categories: Category 1 for experienced players, Category 2 for intermediate competitors and Category 3 for beginners. Open to the public, the tournament will conclude with a prize-giving cocktail on Saturday 6 June.
