19th Constance Festival Culinaire: A Week of Flavour & Discovery

This March, Constance Festival Culinaire invites food lovers and curious gourmets to go beyond simply savouring exquisite plates. The 19th edition opens the doors to the heart of gastronomic creation, offering exclusive masterclasses and rare access to the minds of world-class chefs at every turn.

Taking place from 13 to 21 March 2026 at Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Prince Maurice in Mauritius, this much-anticipated culinary week transforms the island into a vibrant playground of flavours, technique and creativity. More than a showcase of talent, the event celebrates culinary exchange and shared discovery, inviting guests not only to taste, but also to learn, interact and be inspired by cooking masters from across the globe.

Highlights of this 19th edition include the return of signature competitions such as the Régis Marcon Trophy, the Deutz Trophy, the Pierre Hermé Trophy and the Jars Arts of the Table Trophy, where chefs and culinary teams push the boundaries of innovation and artistry. In addition to Michelin-starred dinners and spirited culinary challenges, the programme also features masterclasses that illuminate professional techniques, ingredient stories and the creative philosophies behind world-class cuisine.

Among the festival’s immersive experiences is an Ice Cream Masterclass led by MOF Alain Chartier, Best Craftsman of France (2000) and World Champion of Frozen Desserts (2003), taking place on Thursday 19 March at 11:30 in the Pastry Lab at Constance Prince Maurice.

Pastry enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to join a special Pastry Masterclass with Mercotte and Manon Broutée, winner of Le Meilleur Pâtissier Season 11, on Saturday 21 March at 11:00 in the Conference Room at Constance Belle Mare Plage.

Later that same day, guests can discover the secrets behind an iconic dessert during a Pastry Masterclass with Sébastien Claverie from Maison Pierre Hermé Paris, dedicated to the art of the chocolate cake. This session will take place on Saturday 21 March at 11:30 at the Archipel Restaurant, Constance Prince Maurice.
