“Our family snorkelled around the Atoll surrounded by every kind of reef fish imaginable, black and white tipped sharks, nippy eagle rays and last but not least - turtles.
Our dives with the very professional Blue Tribe dive centre are the highlight of our holidays at Moofushi. We have been diving with them for just under a decade, and I have never seen such a professional and well-run dive centre.
All the staff and dive instructors are excellent. All the equipment is perfect, the dive turnaround is like a Grand Prix pit stop and Manta Point is a must. Through a heartfelt partnership with Mars Sustainable Solutions, Constance Moofushi is proud to nurture and support initiatives rooted in ocean conservation and hope - turning fragility into strength, and beauty into legacy.
The restorative method is as poetic as it is purposeful. Delicate coral fragments are affixed to sand-coated “Reef Stars,” forming constellations on the ocean floor that soon bloom into living gardens. Over time, these stars become sanctuaries that shelter tropical fish, restore natural habitats, and rekindle the vibrancy that once flourished here.
“The reef with its wonderful and colourful fish and corals surrounds the entire island. It’s just some meters away from the beach, and it's very easy to get out for snorkelling (also for beginners) to see the underwater paradise.
There is a coral and fish “spot” near the arrival jetty, with lots of clown fish and sea anemones! You need to check this out! Just ask Vinita, and she will guide you to see the greatest places out in the reef. We managed to see a Manta, lots of sharks, turtles and eagle rays.
We got the chance to plant some corals, and we deeply hope that we can help to increase the size and the variety of this wonderful reef. Only after a few minutes, we could already see many fish surrounding the new coral cage, which hopefully will give them a new home.” - Kati & Hubert, Tripadvisor

We went to Elena’s coral reef talk and it’s clear she has a passion and love for her career and I’m sure taught everyone something new in the 20 minutes she spoke. The location is perfect for beginners and experienced to see a great array of undersea life. You will see all kinds of fish, moray eels, sharks and eagle rays.
