The 8th edition of La Paulée has come to an end, and it’s safe to say we had an extraordinary week of sharing, tasting and celebrating with world-renowned wine connoisseurs and culinary artists.
From May 12th to 17th, Constance Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius hosted a line up of excellence, enlightening prestigious wine labels paired with curated dinners and intimate tastings. The event was a true showcase of esteemed winery and gastronomic artistry, wrapping up as one of the most successful and memorable editions of La Paulée to date.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional Burgundian harvest festival, La Paulée by Constance Hotels & Resorts is a contemporary celebration of wine, friendship, and gourmet excellence. This annual gathering unites wine connoisseurs and culinary masters for an unforgettable week of discovery, indulgence, and camaraderie.

The 2025 edition welcomed an outstanding lineup, including: Hamilton Russell Vineyards (South Africa), Domaine Geantet-Pansiot (Burgundy, France), Weingut Bründlmayer (Austria), Domaine Olivier Riviere (Spain).
From the enchanting Night of La Paulée at Constance Prince Maurice to the unforgettable 8th edition dinner crafted by Bocuse d’Argent 2019, Sebastian Gibrand of Sweden - every moment was a true feast for the senses.
The best sommelier of Constance Hotels & Resorts competition
Our internal contest brilliantly showcased the exceptional talent and expertise of our trusted sommeliers across the Constance Hotels & Resorts resorts. By testing a wide range of technical and service-based skills, the competition not only raised the bar for excellence but also fostered a spirit of friendly rivalry and professional growth.
Best Sommelier of Constance Hotels & Resorts competition was won by Prayash Sahye of Constance Prince Maurice. Competing against Yudish Seenauth (Constance Belle Mare Plage) and Sébastien Uzice (Constance Lémuria Seychelles), Prayash stood out in technical challenges including blind tastings and expert wine pairings.
Influencer spotting at La Paulée
Italian digital communicator and wine influencer, Emanuele Trono, from Piedmont was also in attendance at the event. In 2020, Emanuele co-founded Prima Domus, a boutique winery in Tuscany, alongside fellow wine influencer and enologist Stefano Quaglierini (@italian_wines). Their flagship wine, Virtus, is a Bordeaux-style blend crafted from Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Following his memorable attendance and stay with Constance Hotels & Resorts, he shared his #MyConstanceMoment - “Watching the sun set over the lagoon with a glass of vintage Champagne in hand, surrounded by passionate wine lovers. That image will stay with me forever, and plus when I had the opportunity to swim with a sea turtle, it was pure joy.”
