Constance Belle Mare Plage – where our love story began

Constance Belle Mare Plage will always hold a very special place in our hearts. It was the destination of our very first holiday together – back when my wife was still my girlfriend. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted: the breathtaking scenery, the crystal-clear water, the incredible hospitality, and the delicious food made it an unforgettable experience.

Almost ten years have passed since then. Today, we are happily married and blessed with the greatest gift of all – our little sunshine, our son.

Looking back, we can truly say that Constance was the starting point of our wonderful journey together – the place where our love grew even stronger. Returning to this magical place would mean so much to us.

It would be a dream come true to relive those beautiful memories and create new ones – maybe together with our son at the very same place where it all began.

Dear Constance Team,

Happy 50th Anniversary! Today, I’d like to share a very special story that forever connects my wife Lucie and me to Constance.

Back in 2014, Lucie and I travelled to the Seychelles for the very first time. She was still a student, and I had just started my career. Our budget was limited, so we stayed in small bed & breakfasts while exploring Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.

On Mahé, we drove every single paved road and eventually found ourselves in the breathtaking bay of Port Launay. Spending the day there, we couldn’t help but notice the stunning Constance Ephelia resort, perfectly nestled into the landscape. We were mesmerised.

Right then and there, we made a promise to each other: one day, when life allowed, we would come back. And secretly, I made another promise to myself — that if we ever returned, I would ask Lucie to become my wife on that very beach, at that very hotel.

In 2024, a decade later, we made that dream come true. We returned not only to Constance Ephelia, but also to Constance Lemuria, where we celebrated Lucie’s birthday on July 26. And on July 30, at Constance Ephelia, I got down on one knee. She said “yes”, and on September 26, 2025, we were married.

The Constance team made that evening unforgettable with their warm hospitality, dedication and attention to detail. Lucie and I had the most magical time — just the two of us, enjoying exquisite food, talking, laughing, and soaking in every moment.

It was everything we had dreamed of, thanks to you. This story has become one we love to tell — to friends, to family, to anyone who will listen — about a promise, a dream, and a place so special that it became part of our lives.

Thank you, Constance. We love you, we will keep returning to this magical place and its extraordinary people and would love to explore more Constance Hotels around the globe.

Toujours un bonheur de retrouver le Prince Maurice !
Nous avons découvert l’hôtel en 2017… et depuis, nous y revenons chaque année. En août 2024, nous y avons célébré notre mariage, avant de poursuivre notre lune de miel au Constance Halaveli.
Après notre maison à La Réunion, le Prince Maurice est sans conteste le lieu sur terre où nous nous sentons le mieux. Un écrin de magie et de sérénité, une parenthèse précieuse dans nos vies trépidantes : confort absolu, quiétude, gastronomie raffinée, vins d’exception et service irréprochable. More Than a Hotel - 10 Years of Love and Constance

Ten years ago, we first set foot on Constance Moofushi, and it captured our hearts forever. We celebrated our wedding there with an incredibly moving and beautiful ceremony on the snowy white beach. The planning was flawless, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

That first visit gifted us with more than just memories; it gifted us with lifelong friends from Switzerland. Our bond, forged in the beauty of Moofushi, remains strong to this day.

Our next chapter with Constance Moofushi was as a young family. We returned with our one year old baby, and Constance Moofushi worked its magic for the second time, bringing us together with kindred spirits. Once again, it gifted us with true friends, whom we cherish and with whom we are inseparable to this day! Constance has a way of bringing together souls who share a love for life's finest pleasures: hedonism, the enjoyment of wine, a deep appreciation for nature, and a desire to be among beautiful people.

We feel better here than at home, yet I could never call it just a hotel. It is a heavenly corner with incredible staff, a delightful atmosphere, and leaving has always brought me to tears. Our subsequent journey led us to Constance Belle Mare Mauritius, and once again, we found ourselves in paradise. The nature, the cuisine, and, of course, the magnificent wine cellar create a perfect harmony.

For a vacation with a small child, it is simply the best place on Earth, where we truly recharge as a family, our hearts overflow with love, and a spark ignites in our eyes.

This post is a gratitude letter to every Constance employee. You don't just make people happy, you give them something bigger – a new little life, brimming with vivid impressions, new friends, and flavors!

From the moment we stepped off the seaplane and onto the jetty of Constance Halaveli, we knew we were entering a world apart—one where time slows down, senses awaken, and every detail is crafted to perfection. Nestled in the heart of the Maldives, this island sanctuary became the backdrop to one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives: our honeymoon.

Despite a few rainy days, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. In fact, the occasional tropical showers only added to the charm—inviting us to slow down, savor the moment, and enjoy the cozy luxury of our overwater villa. Waking up to the gentle sound of waves beneath us, sipping coffee on our private deck as the ocean shimmered in every shade of blue, and watching the rain dance over the lagoon—these moments will stay with us forever.

Whether we were enjoying a romantic dinner under the stars at Jing, indulging in the vibrant buffet at Jahaz, or savoring a light lunch by the pool, the food was consistently exquisite. The chefs masterfully combined international sophistication with local ingredients, offering dishes that delighted both the palate and the soul. We still dream of the grilled lobster, the delicate sushi, and the tropical fruit platters that greeted us each morning.

It’s impossible to restrict our experience with Constance Hotels to just one story—there have been too many unforgettable moments. But arriving at Prince Maurice for our honeymoon stands out as one of the most magical. I vividly remember the long drive up to the reception, exhausted after 24 hours of travel and several days of wedding celebrations. As the taxi door opened, we were welcomed with warm smiles, refreshing towels, and the signature scent of the hotel. In that instant, the fatigue vanished.

That moment marked the beginning of our love affair with Constance Hotels, and we’ve never looked back. From our first visit as newlyweds, to returning while expecting our first child, to family holidays with two young children and their grandparents at Belle Mare Plage, each stay has been filled with joy and meaning. One especially memorable highlight was winning the Texas Scramble at the Legends course with my father-in-law—an incredible experience that added a touch of friendly competition and celebration to our trip.

We’ve celebrated our 10th and 20th anniversaries at Moofushi and Halaveli—snorkeling with whale sharks being a standout memory—and every visit has left us recharged and grateful. Most importantly, the staff have been consistently exceptional. From the cleaners to the reception team to the activity coordinators, every single person has made us feel welcome, cared for, and truly at home.

We’ve cherished every trip, and each one has added a new layer to our story.

After another glorious day at Constance Tsarabanjina we slowly meandered back to our beautiful cabin. The evening breeze rustled the palm trees as we walked back from our delicious dinner, looking out for giant chameleons and delighting in the beautiful stars. We reached our chalet and noticed movement around the paving stones of our cabin. We shone our cellphone torches and saw small, brown creatures all around our cabin searching out the light. A mass of turtles hatching around our cabin!!

We literally leapt with joy and alarm. Cam, my son raced to the office to notify the manager and let him know of this amazing occurrence. Guests at dinner were notified and we shone our cellphone torches towards the sea to show them the way. The most special, life affirming moment seeing these tiny beings making their journey — a memory that will stay with my son and I forever.

This is one of the many reasons that we have come back to Constance Tsarabanjina time and time again, the warmth of the staff, the barefoot luxury and the timeless memories.

I’ve traveled far and wide since, but nowhere in the world compares to this experience. Constance Prince Maurice isn’t just a hotel — it’s a promise kept, a dream realized, and a feeling I can’t wait to relive again.

I had the most unforgettable honeymoon experience at Tekoma Constance Hotel in Rodrigues! The hotel's serene atmosphere, stunning ocean views, and beautifully decorated rooms made our stay truly special. The staff went above and beyond to make our honeymoon even more memorable, and the cherry on top was when they surprised me with a birthday celebration during our stay!

The delicious cake, lovely decor, and warm wishes from the team made me feel so loved. We enjoyed relaxing on the beach, rejuvenating at the spa, and savoring exquisite meals at the hotel's restaurant. Tekoma Constance Hotel is a perfect haven for couples seeking a romantic getaway.
