This Easter Jerome Carlier, our sommelier at Constance Le Prince Maurice suggest a very nice Jurançon with your white chocolate…
The jurançon is an AOC white wine from the southwest of France. Located in Béarn, The vineyard is located in a small part of the Pyrénées- Atlantiques region, located on the Pre-Pyrenean hills between the towns of Oloron-Sainte-Marie and Pau.
Domaine Cauhapé, “La Noblesse du Temps”, 2005
The Jurançon has a beautiful nose of yellow fruits, gingerbread and candied orange. In the mouth, the softness is quite large but it remains well-balanced acidity giving sufficient weight. The material is strong enough with a beautiful and long finish on the yellow fruit.
