Proud winner of “Nespresso Café Gourmand” competition held during the 11the edition of
Festival Culinaire Bernard Loiseau; pastry Chef Nicolas Durousseau brought forward the recipe
which conquered the jury…

Started in 2014, the Nespresso Café Gourmand competition is a contest whereby pastry chefs of all
Constance Hotels and Resorts are invited to reinvent and propose an original, creative and innovative
coffee recipe served with delicious petits fours.

For his delicious five item recipe, the Grand Cru Nespresso chosen by Chef Nicolas
was a Ristretto Origin India – a combination of Arabica and Robusta from southern India

The recipe consisted of a Creative Nespresso Grand Cru Coffee, Entremet Crispy, Creamy Texture,
Fruit Base & Chocolate

Jury members of Nespresso Café Gourmand competition

King of french pastry Pierre Hermé, wife of late Bernard Loiseau Dominique Loiseau and Mercotte who is famous for her television series and french pastries, were the jury of the competition.

They were all pleased with Chef Nicolas’ skills thus entitling him, winner of the contest!
