Similar to past editions, 2016 Festival Culinaire Bernard Loiseau will gather
international culinary geniuses from around the world.
To name a few, we have had the privilege of welcoming the “The Picasso of Pastry”- Chef Pierre Hermé,
Constance Hotels and Resorts’ chefs, sous-chefs, sommeliers, and other Food and Beverages’ artists will be present to share and experience a one-of-a-kind culinary week!
Six international Chefs, all holders of one star in the Michelin guide, will be paired with an
“Island Chef” – meticulously selected from six of Constance Hotels and Resorts.
These unique couples, formed after a draw, must create original dishes that will be assessed
by a panel of experts - coming from all around the world.
Island Chefs return to their respective hotel and resort after a week of lifetime experiences
gathered during the enriching festival week.
Our teams start their week by discovering the local market where they will choose some of their products and begin their 3-day trial…
Together with their Michelin Star Chef, they will try to create the winning dish.
And lastly on the competition day,
the Island Chef will create 1 starter and 1 main dish, to be judged by the jury panel.
During the Festival, a special attention is also shown to the art of hosting – Art De Table Competition,
the right drink – Barman Contest, Sommelier Contest,
and Café Gourmand Contest !
A festival where our chefs’ imagination and creativity are tested and our juries are left in awe!
