Chef Dominique Grel started his career as Chef de Cuisine in 1990 and specialises in Gastronomic, Regional, and Inventive as well as Dietetic cuisines.
After working as an Executive chef at Shangri – La Kowloon, Chef Grel’s experiences and skills broadened as he worked in the world’s finest restaurants : Restaurant Relais de Margaux 4*, La Maison Domaine de Bournissac 4*,Chateau Montus Domaine Alain Brumont and La Cantine des Gourmets Restaurant 1* Michelin Paris.
In his culinary path, there were also 5-star hotels like Sofitel Imperial Mauritius, Constance Belle Mare Plage and the Royal Mansour.
In 2013, Chef Grel was involved in the opening of a new retail and dining concept: Eatopia in Doha. From recruitment to benchmarking studies; procurement of all food and beverages suppliers to the whole communication strategy alongside the General Manager, Chef Grel laid the foundation and set sail to Mauritius again.
