This noble practice, synonymous with elegance, is so essential to gastronomy that its inclusion in the Festival Culinaire Bernard Loiseau is only natural.Since 2012, carefully hand-picked sommeliers of Constance Prince Maurice and Constance Belle Mare Plage have been contending each year in an illustrious competition focused on wine waiting traditions.Wine and alcohol tasting; wine pairing; the art of service and wine suggestion; expertise in tea, coffee, water and cigars: welcome to the world of the sommelier, showcased in the Festival Culinaire Bernard Loiseau competition. Of course, commentary and analysis worthy of a Michelin starred establishment will be provided to a prestigious panel of judges assembled for the occasion. The contest, as an embodiment of the high standards and noble values of the profession, will be an opportunity for the sommeliers to excel themselves and to test their knowledge.
