Job Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assists Executive Pastry Chef in all aspects of the management of the pastry/bakery operation •Proposes pastry recipes for the entire resort to the Executive Pastry Chef, in accordance with the principles of the Culinary Spirit of Constance Hotels Experience, the concepts of the restaurants and the yearly action plan. •Ensures that all pastry production served in the resort respects hotel standards, in terms of quality, taste, portioning, presentation and variety. •Ensures that all food entrusted to pastry served at hotel respects at all times the hygiene standards in force in the resort. Inspects areas daily and ensures that standards of cleanliness and order of areas are respected •Ensures that quantities and timing for all pastry productions are respected at all time. Anticipates needs in terms of products, material and human resources. Suggests initiatives to the Executive Pastry Chef. EXPERIENCE: At least three years experience in a similar position within a five star environment in an Island Resort
