Beachside seafood and snacks

With the sea at your feet, this poolside bar and restaurant provides the idyllic setting for a light and tasty meal.

Just what you'd expect from a restaurant that nudges the water's edge, there's a great choice of dishes including grills, salads, burgers, sandwiches and fresh juices. Pizzas and sushi platters are also hugely popular.

In the afternoon, Indigo has established a reputation among food-lovers, and children especially, for its pancakes and ice cream sundaes, prepared in front of your very eyes.

Interactive buffet

La Citronnelle Restaurant offers a delectable selection of buffet dishes from around the world. Set at the heart of the resort, overlooking the beach and infinity pool, you can enjoy a sumptuous buffet at breakfast and dinner.

Behind their cooking stations, chefs whip up a multitude of dishes to suit individual tastes and requirements, using only the freshest ingredients.

Each evening you can travel the world gourmet-style - from tropical to Italian, delicious grills to freshly caught seafood. Some of the most popular dishes include Mauritian curry, grilled fish fillet laced with olive oil and pasta.

A wide choice of wine is available by the glass, and meals at La Citronelle are included for half board guests.

Where elegant dining meets fine wine

The fine dining experience at the Blue Penny Café offers food of exceptional quality, served with some of the best international wines you'll find in the Indian Ocean.

Setting the culinary standards for Constance Hotels Experience, the Blue Penny Cafe showcases the talents of leading chef Frederic Goisset, and talented sommelier Yann Hangouet. Matching the standards of top European restaurants, the Blue Penny  also regularly welcomes some of the great Michelin-starred chefs to its kitchen.  

Guests can enjoy the rare opportunity to visit the wine cellar before choosing from the outstanding wine list. Our range of Cotes du Rhones are of particular note.

Island Cuisine

A favourite haunt of Mauritian fun-lovers and pleasure-seekers, the Deer Hunter looks out across the Legend Golf Course.

Chef Rajesh Payanandee is renowned for introducing guests to the delights of his island's produce, recipes and spices. Based on traditional Mauritian methods of cooking, Rajesh has developed a truly local cuisine, richly influenced by the island’s diversity.

By day, the Deer Hunter is the place where golfers sit down for a light lunch -  sandwiches, aubergine panini and hearty salads. In the evening, the menu features Mauritian specialities.

As the sun goes down, the deer that roam the golf course can often be seen wandering gracefully into the lake or surrounding trees. This is truly magical site, perfect when accompanied with an aperitif before dinner.

Mediterranean romance

Tucked away in a secluded spot behind the private villas, La Spiaggia is something of an institution in Mauritius and a favourite haunt of a number of local residents.

Its location makes it the perfect dining spot for those staying in the villas but it's also open to all guests staying at the resort.

Overlooking a particularly beautiful section of the beach, with unbroken views across the ocean, this is a romantic, relaxing place where you can enjoy some beautifully prepared but unfussy dishes. It's also the perfect spot for couples if you want to savour a few moments while your youngsters play on the beach nearby.

At lunchtime, the menu features salads and Mediterranean-style dishes, while in the evening you can sample the flavours of the French Riviera, Italy and the Mediterranean coastal rim.

Once a week, La Spiaggia hosts the ever popular Lobster evening, where you can try a range of dishes created with the freshest lobster caught that day.

Snacks and salad

Stunning views and light tasty snacks and salads are what make The Swing so popular. Situated at the Links' golf course club house, this delightful restaurant bar offers an understated choice of salads and sandwiches.

Perfect with a cold beer or glass of wine after a long day on the championship golf course.

Salad bar & Grill

If you feel like eating something simple, La Kaze is just the place for you. Every day, Chef Marcelino welcomes guests and prepares something fresh, featuring Creole flavours and the savours of the Indian Ocean.

Situated next to the beach, La Kaze has a friendly and relaxed vibe typical of the Mauritian approach to life and cuisine.  

During high season, a buffet BBQ is also available for relaxed eating barefoot in the sand.

Constance Lémuria of Seychelles
A true haven of peace...

Constance Lémuria, Praslin is haven of peace, tucked away in an stunning location by 3 of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles.

Chef Cyrille, passionate about the Seychelles, supervises the resort's  restaurants with enthusiasm and talent, laying strong emphasis on creating dishes with wonderful local produce.

Bread and pastries are created by Chef Seedheeyan and his team. Presiding over the breakfast buffet, his own-recipe tropical fruit jams, lightly-spiced fruit compotes and special breads are a real treat.

Cuisine of the World

Dominating the bay, the Legend seems to lie flat up against the rockface. Its layout allows guests to enjoy various settings either in the centre, savouring the action, or in the peace and quiet of the new pavilion.

There are a number of buffet stations featuring different specialities depending on the day or theme.

For lunch, the menu features sandwiches, snacks and other light dishes, served at the poolside.

Dinner each evening offers the chance to experience fresh culinary delights. Glorious Indian Ocean aromas waft from the Indian cooking-station and its tandoor ovens finished in burnished copper.

Beach Bar and Grill

The Beach Bar & Grill has earned itself a fabulous reputation. The setting, facing the sea, is simply beautiful. The Creole-style cuisine is delicious, like honest home-cooking and includes fresh fish and seafood in coconut milk. Dining on the rocks, looking out over a vast ocean – an unforgettable moment.

The lunch menu includes light dishes and grills. In the evenings, Chef Cursley creates his own versions of famous Seychellois dishes.

Seahorse - New Seychelloise

Tucked away with stunning views over the 11th green of the award-winning Lémuria golf course, the Seahorse has a cosy feeling in a garden-like setting. This is Lémuria's top restaurant, and here you can enjoy casual-chic dining with attentive service.

At lunchtime, Seahorse is a favourite haunt of golfers looking for simple, refreshing fare.

As the sun goes down, enjoy a cocktail or champagne at the bar before indulging in the wonderful cuisine - classic Seychelles dishes prepared using only the finest ingredients.

The Head Sommelier, Philippe Meurger, has a superb selection of wines, and will be delighted to help you choose from the impressive wine list.

Takamaka - Snacks & bar

A simple wooden hut a few yards from the sea. Sit at the bar for a fresh-fruit cocktail or sample the menu that includes tasty salads, fresh fish carpaccio and sandwiches. Tables can also be set on the beach itself.

Legend Bar

Legend is the main bar, opposite the restaurant, and is the ideal place for meeting up during your stay. By day, the atmosphere is calm and by night, intimate and relaxed with music gently playing in the background. The bar is tastefully decorated with fabrics inspired by African designs.

Constance Ephélia of Seychelles

Constance Ephélia, Seychelles has 5 restaurants and bars. Each has been designed and decked out with an individual concept to offer guests a wide choice of cuisine.

The décor reflects the elegance and nature of the place with subtle Seychellois touches. Our Chef, who trained in some of France’s great restaurants, heads a kitchen team of over 100 staff, made up of more than 10 nationalities.

Cyann Bar

The resort’s most luxurious bar, with a unique selection of aged rums and single-malt whiskies, as well as rare alcoholic drinks, sake and a range of sophisticated cocktails. Guests can also enjoy a glass of wine, chosen with the help of our sommelier. The Cyann Bar area is the perfect place to smoke a cigar whilst enjoying the gentle evening breeze.

Seselwa Bar

The Seselwa bar is on the right-hand side of the magnificent North Beach, where you can relax in cosy armchairs, and is the place to savour a refreshing drink or a tropical cocktail, whilst listening to Creole music.

Helios

Casual-chic by the South Beach. The restaurant’s main feature is its enormous wood-fired oven. Open at lunchtime with a buffet specialising in dishes from the South of France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Lebanon and elsewhere in the Mediterranean.

Tapas, mezze and antipasti as well as thin-based pizzas, whole fish and other dishes, cooked in the oven or cast-iron dishes. There is also a wide selection of pasta. For dessert, Helios particularly prides itself on its range of original ice-creams and sundaes. Snacks and lunchtime favourites are also available.

Afternoon tea, ice-creams and pancakes are served between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. (supplement applies).

Dining: occasional themed evenings.

Corossol

The main restaurant for half-board guests with a buffet featuring international cuisine.  There is an open kitchen for interaction between the cooks and guests. Air-conditioned throughout. There are various sections: an Asian cuisine area for wok and tandoor dishes as well as Asian noodles, and a central space with a pizza oven and hot plates, also preparing many other dishes. The Corossol desserts are an experience in themselves.

The dining room is divided into various sections, each with its own feel, and also offers the choice of dining al fresco.  

Open for breakfast and dinner.

Adam & Eve

The South Beach’s a la carte restaurant, located next to the Junior Suites. Very relaxed atmosphere, barefoot in the sand, with an African-inspired décor, against a backdrop of granite rocks. The open kitchen prepares a selection of mouth-watering salads, various brochettes and top-quality meat dishes, as well as fish grilled or sautéed a la plancha as guests watch. The restaurant bakes its own, local speciality bread, served with house-made chutney.  

A selection of snacks and favourite lunch dishes is also available.  

Open for dinner for those on half-board.

Cyann

Cyann is the hotel’s top restaurant with a unique concept and design. It lies below the Hillside Villas, with a magnificent view of the marine reserve. A sushi bar at lunchtime, with a casual-chic style. More refined and elegant in the evening, with a selection of signature dishes combining French culinary techniques with little local touches and flavours.

The wine list should not be overlooked – it includes some of the best traditional as well as New World vintages.

Seselwa

Causal chic at Seselwa, a restaurant with a Creole atmosphere, facing the splendid North Beach. A décor of white furniture and brightly coloured cushions, evoking the brightness and the festive spirit of the Seychelles.

Buffet breakfast. Creole specialities at lunchtime and in the evenings, with fish grilled as you watch. Seselwa’s culinary style is notable for its fresh ingredients and island flavours, saveurs des îles.  

Snacks and lunchtime favourites are also available.

Kabana

The brand-new Kabana is in the centre of the North Beach. A friendly beach bar, Kabana prepares sandwiches and snack dishes for eating, relaxing on your sun-loungers.

Zee Bar

The main bar has three sections, each with a different atmosphere, and serves a wide selection of drinks, including a range of cocktails specially concocted by our own specialist.  

Relax in the evenings to the sounds of the band in the laid-back area next to the bar, in the quieter and more luxurious lounge, or even elegantly lazing on the bar loungers on the wooden outdoor pontoon, enjoying the sight of the night sky.

Helios Bar

The Helios Bar is next to one of the four swimming pools, facing the beach and next to the Helios restaurant. As well as a classic selection of drinks and cocktails, our barman’s specialities also include freshly made iced teas and a large range of coffees.

Adam & Eve Bar

The bar is next to the main swimming pool, facing the beach and next to the Adam & Eve Grill. Its specialties include fresh fruit and vegetable juices as well as local drinks served in coconut shells.

Barachois
Floating restaurant

As you head off to Le Barachois along a gangplank that winds through mangrove trees, you know you're in for a treat.

This small, romantic restaurant is created from 5 pontoons floating on the lagoon. Lanterns are strung along the walkway, casting a twinkly reflection into the water.

The sound of the water gently lapping, and the occasional fish jumping out of the water adds to the charm. And to top it all, the food here is delicious. You can sample an eclectic mix of seafood and grills, all created around one particular herb or spice.

Only open in the evenings, eating at Le Barachois is a must-do when staying at Le Prince Maurice.

Elegant dining

The elegant and welcoming L'Archipel restaurant is set in an idyllic spot at the heart of the resort, overlooking the beautiful infinity pool and beach.

Starting your day here with the extensive breakfast buffet while overlooking the sea and pool is an unbeatable experience.

At lunch and dinner there is both a set menu and à la carte, where you can enjoy light, spice infused gourmet food created at the hands of the supremely talented Chef Scioli.

Dining at L'Archipel is available to guests on a half board basis at a supplement.

Asian

New sushi bar implemented in the laguna bar area whereby Japanese food lovers can enjoy these delicacies.

The Lotus Lounge Bar is comfortable and cosy, the ideal place for a drink before or after dinner with a chic ambience.

Facing the lagoon, the Laguna Bar’s menu includes cocktails and very special champagne as well as light snacks. Comfortable with a wonderful atmosphere.

Constance Halaveli of Maldives

A stay at the Constance Halaveli of Maldives is always full of exceptional moments. A delightful range of savours wafts through the hotel’s three restaurants and two bars, leaving lasting impressions.

Glen Cooper, a brilliant young chef of the New Zealand new guard, is sure to surprise and delight you.

A magical place, where the dining experience is best described by words such as choice, finesse and passion.

Jahaz

Jahaz is the hotel’s main restaurant. Shaped like the half-hull of an overturned boat, the room is open to the exterior and the white, sandy beach and the lagoon beyond. The restaurant offers a real range from across the world and the kitchen and serving team take great delight in helping you to discover new savours and flavours.  

For breakfast, there is an impressive buffet with a vast choice of European and Asian dishes.

Tables are arranged next to the beach for lunch, with a simple menu of snacks and light dishes. Guests can also order from the menu in the bar and around the pool.

There is a different theme each evening for the dinner buffet, with the cooks preparing a wide selection of dishes as guests look on.

Jing

Jing stands above the transparent waters of the lagoon and is an oasis of well-being. The room is an extension to the Jing Bar (which is an ideal place to enjoy a glass of champagne) and stretches out in a half-circle, facing the sea.

An open kitchen means you can see the cooks working. You can also eat a menu specially prepared for you at the counter.

Jing, closed at lunchtime, welcomes guests in the evening with a sophisticated menu, the match of many great restaurants. Creative cuisine, inspired by East and West.

The wine cellar is a remarkable place where guests can arrange for private dinner parties and individual sommelier service.

If you’re looking for more casual dining barefoot beneath the stars, Meeru will be there to welcome you with speciality grills and tasty side dishes. Special evenings and a menu changing according to the day’s catch.

Jahaz Bar

Open daily until late, the Jahaz Bar has two pavilions, each with its own atmosphere, and a great cocktail list.

Sipping an aperitif at sunset cosily ensconced on beanbags on the beach is something you won’t forget in a hurry!

Destination Dinners

At Constance Halaveli Resort of Maldives, there are a number of private-dining options in outstanding settings, such as on the beach in front of your villa, on the terrace or on a desert island.

The best kept secret in the Maldives? A visit to the Jahaz cellar in the company of the Head Sommelier, Jerome Carlier, whose professional enthusiasm is very infectious. A not-to-be-missed dining and wining experience.

Constance Moofushi of Maldives

The Crystal Package gives guests access to the various restaurants and bars. Chef Stuart Blair, who hails from Australia, seems to have an innate delight for fine produce and he always takes great pleasure in concocting his menus as the fresh ingredients arrive.

Fresh fish (still alive when delivered to the resort), meat from Australia, local fruit. Good, honest and spur-of-the-moment cuisine – unfussy, which fits the place perfectly.

Manta

The theme of the main restaurant is “A journey around the world”. Manta, with its sandy floor, prepares a varied cuisine of simple and tasty dishes.

The cooks prepare the dishes as you watch and their enthusiasm is clear in their sincerity and good humour.

The Deck at Manta is built on piles so that guests can dine over the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

There is a vast choice for the breakfast buffet including Asian dishes.

Salads, grills and pizzas cooked in front of you in a wood-burning oven are favoured at lunchtime, as well as Maldivian specialities.

There is a different theme to the buffet dinner every evening, a journey of discovery, as well as a selection of Asian and Italian dishes.

There is a splendid, glass-fronted wine cellar and the young and already famous Head Sommelier, Cedric, provides guests with a delightful selection of wines.

Alizée

Just a few yards from the sea on a wooden platform facing the beach, Alizée is set against a very inviting and relaxing background.

The island’s a la carte restaurant, Alizée offers a selection of snacks at lunchtime, as well as pizzas and salads, that can be eaten there or at a table beneath the Totem Bar.

Wesley and his team welcome guests for dinner, where the atmosphere is romantic and relaxing. After a tasty first course, the menu consists of lobster and meat, grilled under a pavilion with a palm-thatched roof.

Totem Bar

The bar is on the beach beyond the swimming pool, under a canopy of native trees, with a driftwood décor.

Whenever the warmth of the Maldives sun becomes too much, the beach bar is the perfect place to enjoy a fresh-fruit smoothie or one of the freshly-made iced teas.

Snacks are served at lunchtime and during the afternoon. The bar is also one of the most romantic places from which to watch a sunset over the beach.

Manta Bar

The main bar adjoins the main restaurant and has a lively, warm and tropical atmosphere, with open areas on the sand. The bar serves a wide selection of drinks, including typical tropical cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic ones.

It is also the perfect place for a cocktail after dinner whilst listening or dancing to the music chosen by our DJ.

Constance Tsarabanjina of Madagascar

The restaurant and bar is in the middle of the hotel, a relaxing place with a great deal on offer. The talented chef, Claude Rehivelo, is an expert in his use of Madagascar’s fresh produce: fresh fish, lobster, shellfish and zebu (local cattle) go well with the tasty organic vegetables and wonderful local fruit from the Nosy Bé kitchen garden.

The bar has a warm and friendly feel to it and from time to time you can see dolphins swimming past out at sea.
